Like many companies with large group policies, Greenway had reached a ceiling with existing brokers – standard support for renewals and claims, but not much else.
The missing pieces of their employee insurance plan: preventive care, smarter plan design, and a way to connect the dots between benefits spend and actual employee health outcomes.

Loop activated 8 wellness events with over 935 attendees—topics like mental health, financial freedom, and inclusive leadership. These weren’t feel-good extras; they drove behavior change and brand affinity.
Strategic Planning to Support Better ROI on Spends
Loop worked directly with Greenway’s HR to build a Benefits ROI, backed by benchmarking, cost analysis, and employee usage insights; shifting the benefits conversation from cost to impact.
Designing for Better Outcomes
In year one with Loop, the objective was clear: stop the policy from bleeding and design a benefits structure that could sustain long-term outcomes.
The approach started with policy architecture. Loop’s team helped Greenway introduce smart adjustments, including capping dependent coverage, adding reasonable sub-limits, and removing high-cost leakages that often inflate the ICR.
Their ICR, which had previously hovered around ~90, saw a ~25-point drop by year 3 (an all-time low).
But this wasn’t just about better math, it was about a smarter plan that balanced both risk and benefits.
Using Benefits the Right Way
The second wave of change came not through policy tweaks, but behavior change.
Loop embedded preventive care directly into the employee experience. From unlimited free doctor consultations and 24/7 Medical Advisor chats to wellness campaigns nudging employees to engage with their health proactively, Greenway saw a shift.

Every medical interaction before hospitalization is an opportunity to guide healthier outcomes and reduce future claims. With Loop’s proactive care model, employees received timely support that often made hospital visits unnecessary.
When claims did arise, the experience remained seamless.
Cashless claims queries were resolved in just 20 minutes on average — 3X faster than the industry benchmark of ~one hour.
Wellness That Employees Use
Greenway didn’t stop at consultations. They turned wellness into a strategic engagement lever, not a feel-good checkbox.
From March to November 2024, they ran 8 diverse wellness events: from sessions on self-defense and DE&I, to financial freedom and mental health.
Over 1,000+ employees participated, and top-rated events like Power of Atomic Habits and Financial Freedom received 4.7+ ratings out of 5.
